Ele trara seus charmes para lhe agradar

Eu não posso lhe prometer que ele permanecera
pois todos da Terra retornam
mas ha lições ensinadas ai embaixo

A Ponte do Arco Íris
Bem do ladinho do céu tem um lugar chamado Ponte do Arco Íris.
Quando morre um animal que foi especial para alguém daqui, esse animal vai para Ponte do Arco Íris.
Lá existem riachos e colinas para que todos os nossos amigos possam correr e brincar juntos .
Tem muita comida, água e sol, e nossos amigos estão quentinhos e confortáveis. .
Todos os animais que estavam velhos e doentes voltaram a ter vigor e saúde; aqueles que estavam machucados ou aleijados estão inteiros e fortes novamente, exatamente como nas nossas lembranças dos tempos que já se foram.
Os animais estão felizes e contentes, exceto por uma coisinha: cada um deles sente falta de alguém muito especial , que teve que ficar para trás.
Todos correm e brincam juntos, mas chega o dia quando um subitamente para e olha para longe. Seus olhos brilhantes estão atentos; seu corpo treme de ansiedade. De repente ele começa a correr para longe do grupo, voando sobre o gramado verde, suas pernas indo mais e mais rápido.
Você foi avistado, e quando você e o seu amigo finalmente se encontrarem, vocês se abraçam numa reunião feliz, para nunca serem separados novamente. Os beijos alegres chovem sobre o seu rosto; suas mãos afagam de novo a cabeça amada, e você pode olhar mais uma vez nos olhos confiantes do seu amigo, ausentes há tanto tempo da sua vida mas nunca longe do seu coração.
Aí vocês cruzam juntos a Ponte do Arco Íris....

I'll lend you for a little time,
a dog of mine God said.
For you to love while he lives
and mourn when he is dead.
The years they may be six or
ten or even as few as three.
But will you, 'till I call him back,
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you,
and shall his stay be brief,

I cannot promise he will stay,
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down
there I want this dog to learn.
I've looked the wide world over,
in search for a master true,
and from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give him your love,
nor think the labour vain,
nor hate me when I come to call
to take him back again?

Dear Lord,Thy will be done.
For all the joy this dog shall bring,
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
and love him while we may,
And for the happiness we will know,

But shall the angels call for him
much sooner then we planned,

and try to understand.
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
